Course Description
Advance Tech CommunicationOpen only to students in bachelor degree programs, this course requires students to study workplace communication. Students will study and produce common workplace documents such as memos, letters, manuals, instruction sheets, abstracts, proposals, analytical reports, feasibility studies, etc. and will also consider ethical issues surrounding workplace communication. Research projects and the production and use of visual aids are required. Oral presentations and collaborative projects may be required. Students cannot receive credit for both COMP 110 and COMP 310. Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing and C or better in COMP 101, or by permission of instructor 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall and spring semesters These credits count toward the Humanities (List A) requirements for graduation.
