Information Technology: End-User Support B.Tech.

In today's world, companies rely more heavily on technology than ever before. A company cannot move forward without a top notch technical support team. Support personnel have a job like no other IT professional - they are responsible for making sure the hardware, software, and systems work so that other employees can do their best.

To keep a company running, support personnel are responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring network services, and running system backups. They are called upon to troubleshoot a wide variety of problems, as they are often exposed to all aspects of the business. They are key technology communicators, often interacting with everyone from the mailroom clerk to the CEO. They are counted upon to give a company a competitive advantage by keeping tabs on cutting-edge technology that can make their company more productive than its competitors. To be a support professional means to take pride in being many things to many people.
