Course Description

Computer Applications II

CITA 130 Computer Applicatons II This course is a study of advanced applications software. Topics include but are not limited to the Internet, Web publishing, advanced word processing, advanced spreadsheets, advanced database, and graphics. Students will learn through hands-on experience using hardware and software. Prerequisite: CITA 110 or CITA 100 with a C grade or better, or permission of the department 3 credits

Admissions Requirements

New students: SAT: Math 500, Verbal 450.

Transfers: 3 units of Regents math (or equivalent college math), demonstration of basic computer literacy, GPA of 2.5 or better.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
