Home

Throughout the last decade, thousands of of companies and organizations have developed a presence on the Web. Over the next decade, these companies will be maintaining and developing new information, and new companies will be developing their own sites as well. This will result in a continuing high demand for Webmasters and other Web-based jobs. In fact, according to ComputerWorld, Web development expertise now ranks as the "most sought-after skill in information technology departments." This is because Internet skills pervade almost all areas of IT.

Morrisville State College provides students with the skills they need to land one of these high-paying, high-tech jobs. They will learn the details of web security, usability and interface design, database design and management, graphic and multimedia production, and Web server administration. While developing Web applications, students will learn to work with business clients and use technologies such as jQuery, Ajax, PHP, and MySQL.
