Auto Shop Mgt & Supervision

Practicum in shop management. Practical experiences in demonstrating leadership skills, problem-solving skills, motivational skills, goal setting, time management, counseling, implementing policy and procedures, conducting meetings, implementing codes of conduct, enhancing professional ethics, interfacing with customers, conflict resolution and dealing with personnel issues in the workplace, such as sensitivity skills, harassment issues and stress management. Admissions Requirements

A.A.S. or A.S. or 60 hours of lower division course work (from an accredited college or university) with a minimum GPA of 2.3. Completion of Math 102 - Intermediate Algebra with Trigonometry (C or better required) or equivalent prior to enrollment into the program.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
