This class offers a “work to show” class where students learn the business of broadcasting including: management and marketing techniques, sales and promotion strategies, and non-linear video editing production. Professionals in the local and regional broadcasting markets guest lecture, as well as host students through field trip visits. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor 3 credits, fall semester

Admissions Requirements

A.A.S. or A.S. or 60 hours of lower division course work (from an accredited college or university) with a minimum GPA of 2.3. Completion of Math 102 - Intermediate Algebra with Trigonometry (C or better required) or equivalent prior to enrollment into the program.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
