Course Description

Principles of Accounting II

This course covers the methods of accounting for corporate organization and operation including equity-related transactions, corporate income statement, and statement of cash flows. Financial statement analysis is also covered. Managerial accounting is also included and covers such topics as product costing, short-run decision making, budgeting, and CVP analysis. Prerequisite: ACCT 101 minimum grade of C 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall or spring semester

Admissions Requirements

A high school average of 80 or greater, 3 units of Regents math or equivalent and minimum SAT scores of 500 in math and 450 in verbal. Transfer students must have a GPA of 2.75, 3 units of Regents math or college math equivalents, and a basic literacy with computers.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
