Students Who Are Creative
One student decided to put together a unique program in zoo animal handling. Courses came from across several curricula including Horse Nutrition (the closest course to feeding camels), Zoology, Wildlife Management, and more.

Students Who Want a Particular Major Not Offered at Morrisville State College
One student wanted to spend his first two years at Morrisville State College before transferring to a baccalaureate degree program to major in pharmacology. He checked the transfer college's program of study for the first two years, and duplicated those two years at Morrisville in preparation for transfer.

Students Who Want Specific Skills For Job Opportunities Or Promotion
One student needed an associate degree for a promotion at work and designed her own course of study which concentrated on the skills necessary for the job she was aiming for.



Admission Requirements

Like most other associate degrees at Morrisville, a student will need to complete 64 credits of course work and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 or "C" average. Students may choose to pursue an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate in Arts (A.A.), or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
