The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree is the most flexible in allowing students to choose their coursework, while providing the opportunity for students to combine two very different fields of study.
Associate in Arts (A.A.) is a good transfer degree for students going into a Liberal Arts area such as Law or Psychology. Students graduating with this degree must take courses in 7 out of the 10 General Education categories as outlined by SUNY.
