The associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice at the Norwich Campus is designed to prepare individuals for success in entry-level Criminal Justice positions and to help advance the careers of those already working in this fascinating, fast-paced environment.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment opportunities for Criminal Justice to be well above average throughout Central New York, state-wide, nationally, and internationally for the foreseeable future (see www.bls.gov). Accordingly, this program is intended to meet strong industry demand for well educated professionals who can provide quality police, corrections, security, and related services.

Admissions Requirements

Students who have not met minimum requirements for success in the required language arts courses will be required to successfully complete the recommended college pre-requisite courses before being admitted to the program.
