What was great about the TET program at Morrisville is it provided me with the opportunity to participate in several observations of teachers in the Morrisville-Eaton Central School District. Right from my freshman year I was able to observe and even teach my own lesson plans. This gave me more confidence and an advantage over other students when it came time to student-teach during my senior year in college.
Teacher Education (Transfer) A.A., A.S.
This is specifically a transfer program. Students graduating from this degree program may transfer directly to a parallel teacher education program at a participating SUNY baccalaureate program if the student meets the criteria for admission to that program. Students may also transfer to teacher education programs at private colleges and universities upon meeting the admission criteria for those institutions. Faculty advisors will assist students in the transfer process.
Morrisville students have transferred to such teacher education programs as those offered at SUNY Cortland, SUNY Oswego, SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Albany, SUNY Plattsburgh, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Old Westbury, Syracuse University, Russell Sage College, The College of St. Rose, Utica College, St. John Fisher, Manhattanville, University of Maine, and LeMoyne College.
