"I got a ‘crash course’ in what it means to be a real journalist through Morrisville’s Journalism degree program. I was exposed to the ins and outs of print, radio, and television with real-world, hands-on learning. With the personal attention I received from my professors and fellow students, I graduated with the skills it took to be a success in this business. I was challenged to dig deeper and really look at journalism as an important public service. It’s a responsibility I take seriously. Every day I go to work I rely on something I learned at Morrisville. It’s an experience I’m grateful to have. As I encounter journalists from other schools, I’m proud to let them know I am, and always will be, a Mustang."
Course DescriptionVideojournalism Internship
This 12-credit, in-field experience offers students preparation for full-time employment. Students work collaboratively in a professional work environment with an on-site mentor, who will assign duties and responsibilities similar to those of on-staff videojournalists or content producers.
