Engineering Materials

A study of material properties, limitations, processing, testing, and specification. Course includes plastics, metals, ceramics, composites, cements and other important engineering materials. 3 credits (2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours), fall semester These credits count toward the Math and/or Science (List B) requirements for graduation.

Admissions Requirements

Desirable courses could include one or more of the following: mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanical drawing, and CAD.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
