Morrisville provided me with a sound foundation necessary to become the young professional I am today.  Specifically, the technical skill set I learned through the dedicated faculty placed me in advanced courses upon graduation, positioning me further ahead of my peers.  Not only was I thoroughly introduced to the importance of design within the profession of architecture and its allied fields, but Morrisville also provided me a platform to excel within the public service and leadership sector of the profession.  I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend, embrace, and excel as a Mustang during my tenure at MSC.

Course Description

Arch CAD Drafting & Design

This course will introduce computer-aided drafting and design (CAD) software designed for the utilization in the field of architecture. By Using CAD software, students will first learn to generate professional quality two-dimensional drawings and details. Ultimately by using multiple software packages, students will explore three-dimensional modeling culminating in the creation of realistic color renderings of buildings and furnishings.
