Automotive Management B.B.A.
The bachelor of business administration (B.B.A.) degree in Automotive Technology—Technology Management will prepare students for entry level into the industry at the supervisory or management level with technical knowledge of automotive construction and operation. Courses will combine an emphasis in automotive and business management in the first two years. In the junior and senior years, students will continue with business management with a heavy concentration of automotive management. These courses will consist of: automotive shop management, automotive fleet management and automotive parts management and merchandising. The spring semester will culminate with an internship in an automotive or transportation–related business.
Morrisville’s automotive facility is designed like an automotive dealership and provides students with a technologically sophisticated environment. The facility also contains a showroom where students can practice their sales and management skills in a real–life environment.
The automotive program has a reputation for outstanding faculty and teaching facilities. In this program, students receive practical laboratory experience in diagnosis of driveability problems, auto body repair and refinishing, fuel systems, brakes, steering, suspensions, automatic transmissions and engines. Students will take courses in traditional automotive areas and management courses such as marketing and automotive management and supervision.
