Course Description

Chassis Analysis II

Designed to give the student detailed instruction in the diagnosis and repair of modern suspension, steering and break systems and in the troubleshooting and repair of 4-wheel alignment systems. On car brake lathe and road force balance machines included. Prerequisites: AUTO 109 Co-requisite: AUTO 102, AUTO 104 4 credits (2 lecture hours, 1 recitation hour, 3 laboratory hours), spring semester

Admissions Requirements

A high school graduate entering the Automotive Technology A.A.S. program must have a minimum high school average in the C to C+ range and have completed New York State Math A or the equivalent. Additional mathematics and science are desired. Vocational training is not a requirement.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
