"I came to visit the campus and seeing the Automotive Building for the first time astonished me! The building is amazing with all of the glass, sitting atop the hill that overlooks the campus and the village. Additionally inside the building the classrooms and the labs had cut-a-ways of engines and partially disassembled vehicles that really got my interest at the time."

Course Description

Steering/Suspension Systems

This course covers principles of operation, types, and diagnosis/repair of suspension and steering systems to include steering geometry. Topics include manual and power steering systems and standard and electronically controlled suspension and steering systems. Upon completion, students should be able to service and repair various steering and suspension components, check and adjust various alignment angles, perform NVH diagnosis and balance wheels. Prerequisite: ASET 122 3 credits (100 hours combined lecture and laboratory), alternate fall semesters

Vocational training is not a requirement.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
