Human Resource Management

A course designed to analyze the problems, strategies and procedures in managing and assessing human resources in contemporary organizations. Special attention is given to problems in assessing abilities and performance, effective recruitment, selection and training, motivational strategies and developing the organization’s human resources. Special emphasis is placed on such topics as Equal Employment Opportunity, ethics, organizational development/teamwork, and total quality management. Admissions Requirements

Students must have a minimum SAT score of 450 verbal and 500 math. Vocational training is not a requirement. Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. Transfer students must have a minimum transfer GPA of at least 2.5.
