“I would have to say it’s my academic advisor, Dr. Richard Marcoux. He really influenced me! There are so many great professors on the campus, but Dr. Marcoux is really trying to help me pursue my career. He’s a great professor and I love taking classes with him! Course Description

Introduction to Programming

Programming in a high level language emphasizing problem-solving and object-oriented programming techniques. Topics include assignment, input/output, selection, looping, scalar and array data structures, string and numeric data and modular development. Prerequisite: MAGN101 with C or better or placement in MATH102 or higher 3 credits (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours), fall and spring semester
