Course Description

Computer System Support Mainte

This is a project-oriented course that focuses on the support and maintenance of PCs. Students will learn how plan, organize, implement and operate a support system and apply this knowledge and skill through actual participation in a help desk environment. Students will also learn how to upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain PC hardware and software, and how to build and repair PCs in a hands-on environment. Admissions Requirements

New students: SAT: Math 500, Verbal 450.

Transfers: 3 units of Regents math (or equivalent college math), demonstration of basic computer literacy, GPA of 2.5 or better.

Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
