Preceptor/Site Coordinator Training Program

The faculty of the Morrisville State College Dietetic Technician program would like to thank you for participating as a preceptor or site coordinator for our students during their supervised field experience rotations. The department has created a preceptor/site coordinator training program. This training program is designed to familiarize you with the College, Dietetic Technician Program, faculty, course materials, and the students to prepare you for meeting the expectations of the field experience rotations.

The faculty of the Morrisville State College Dietetic Technician program would like to thank you for considering participation with the Morrisville State College Dietetic Technician program as a potential preceptor for a student who must complete their Summer Supervised Field Experience hours as part of their required curriculum. The purpose of this informational session is to acquaint you with the MSC DTP, the course requirements for NUTR 220 – Summer Supervised Field Experience, and the requirements for preceptors. Agreeing to be a preceptor for a student is a time commitment, both prior to the student starting rotations and during the actual summer field experience. Please access the following documents:
