Course Description

Quantitative Analysis(Inorg.)

Principles and practices of the quantitative treatment of chemical reactions and equilibria. Major emphasis on volumetric, redox and UV-VIS spectrophotometry in addition to other topics. Problem solving. Prerequisites: CHEM 142, CHEM 142L or CHEM 122, CHEM 122L Co-requisite: CHEM 321L 2 credits (2 lecture hours), fall semester This course satisfies the Liberal Arts and Sciences requirement and the SUNY General Education Requirement for Natural Science

Admissions Requirements

High School Preparation: Required:  minimum high school average of B,  four units of  defined  math to include pre-calculus and three units of defined  science including chemistry.  Desired: one additional unit each of defined math, physics and biology.
