Students enrolled in this program at Morrisville State College have use of state-of-the art laboratories and fitness facilities designed specifically studying fitness and sports physiology. The fitness laboratory consists of a variety of testing equipment, including a Quinton electrocardiogram machine and a Metabolic Medgraphic cart which assesses gas exchange, carbon dioxide output and oxygen input. The facility also includes fitness equipment such as free weights and a Cybex multistation weight machine, assisted chin-dip bar, a leg press machine, treadmills, elliptical, stairclimber, airdyne bikes and recumbent bikes.

The college's Fitness Center offers state-of-the-art training devices, stairclimbers, treadmills, rowing machines, free weights, hammer strength equipment and many more.

Admissions Requirements

Students wishing to enter this program must meet the following requirements:
Minimum SAT scores of 500 in math and 450 in critical reading.

Desired: Math through pre-calculus and general chemistry.
