The Liberal Arts and Sciences: Mathematics and Science degree program at Morrisville State College is designed to enable students to concentrate their studies in either biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics with the intention of ultimately completing further course work in a related area.

The great flexibility within this program permits students to work closely with faculty to tailor the program to meet their individual interests. Students can continue their education in programs other than pure science, and may choose to pursue long term goals in applied technologies, environmental sciences, nursing, massage or other medical fields, engineering, education and more.

The mathematics concentration is designed for students who intend to ultimately complete a four-year degree program. Students who complete the mathematics program with three semesters of calculus plus differential equations may transfer successfully to a bachelor degree program in mathematics.

Morrisville State College offers the strengths of small class sizes and a hands-on learning environment. Faculty members in the department pride themselves on serving students and are available to offer additional academic guidance outside of the classroom.
