Math & Science A.S. - Biology Concentration :: Home

The Liberal Arts and Sciences: Mathematics and Science, A.S. - Biology concentration provides students with a solid background in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Students may transfer directly into baccalaureate degree programs, such as medical specialties, teaching, marine biology and environmental science. In addition to excellent transfer options, the Biology concentration enables students to seek employment in a variety of laboratory-based occupations.

Admission Requirements

Minimum high school average of B- (at least a 79), two years of high school math (through New York state Math B or algebra and geometry) with at least a 75. General Biology with at least an 80, and successful completion of general chemistry is required. Pre-calculus and Physics are highly desired.
