Massage Therapy A.A.S. :: Career Opportunities
Upon graduation, graduates are eligible to apply for the licensing examination required to practice massage therapy in New York state. Students may choose from a variety of career options within this field, including self–employment, or work in resorts, spas, on cruise ships, in the offices of chiropractors, wellness centers, hospice and long–term care facilities or with athletic teams and professional theater and dance companies.Other students may choose to continue their education to become physical therapists, chiropractors, respiratory therapists and physicians.
