BEMT 103- First Aid and Safety This course introduces students to the skills and techniques necessary to provide the initial emergency care to sustain life support to victims of accidents and illness. Students will be eligible to become certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Responding to Emergencies by satisfying the requirement established by the American Red Cross. 3 credits, spring
Students must demonstrate that they have received an Eastern and Western massage from a licensed massage therapist within one year prior to enrollment.
Transfer students and students who are re–entering the academic world after a long absence or looking at massage as a second career are evaluated on a case–by–case basis. Morrisville State College has a rolling admission policy; notification of acceptance begins November 1. SAT or ACT exams are recommended, and an on–campus interview is encouraged.
