Welcome Weekend 2015

First Year and Transfer Students
All first year and transfer students should arrive on Thursday, August 20, 2015 (between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.) and move into their residence halls; commuter students will check into John W. Stewart Activities Center. On August 18 you will receive a personalized e-mail with your mandatory meeting times for the weekend. Welcome to your home away from home!

University Police will direct traffic from Route 20 onto campus, and volunteers will assist with parking, check-in, and the residential student move-in process.

Returning and Readmitted Students
Returning and readmitted students arrive on Sunday, August 23, 2015 (starting at 9 a.m.) and should check in directly at their assigned residence hall.

Resident Assistants and Athletes
Fall Athletes and Resident Assistants who have received prior approval are authorized to arrive as instructed for training.

What to Pack
Make sure that you bring everything you'll need by checking the list of what to pack when you start the semester.

Start of Classes
Classes begin on Monday, August 24, 2015.

Academic Welcome Ceremony
All new students - first year, transfer, and readmitted students, campus resident and commuters - are invited to attend the Academic Welcome Ceremony. This short ceremony will welcome new students to campus and is the official opening of the school year.

The entire faculty and administration, including the President and the Deans will take part in this campus tradition. Please join us for this important event. No classes are scheduled at this time.
