Welcome Schedule
First Year and Transfer Students
All first year and transfer students should arrive on Thursday, August 21, 2008 (between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.) in the Student Activities Building.
University Police will direct traffic from Route 20 onto campus, and volunteers will assist with parking, check-in, and the residential student move-in process.
Returning and Readmitted Students
Returning and readmitted students arrive on Sunday, August 24, 2008 (between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.) and should check in directly at their assigned residence hall.
Resident Assistants and Athletes
Fall Athletes and Resident Assistants who have received prior approval are authorized to arrive as instructed for training.
What to Pack
Make sure that you bring everything you'll need by checking the list of what to pack when you start the semester.
Academic Convocation
All new students - first year, transfer, and readmitted students, campus resident and commuters - are invited to attend the Academic Convocation on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Hamilton Hall on campus. This ceremony will welcome new students to campus and to the classes of 2010 and 2012 and is the official opening of the school year. The entire faculty and administration, including the President, the Vice Presidents and the Deans will take part. Please join us for this important event. It will be an impressive and enjoyable beginning to your Morrisville State College career.
The ceremony will last just under one hour. All new first-year, transfer and readmitted students are invited join the faculty and staff for lunch following the ceremony. Details will be announced at the ceremony.
To attend, simply arrive on Friday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. on the quad outside Hamilton Hall. Ushers will show you to your seats.

Classes begin on Monday, August 25, 2008.
