The Technology Center Warranty Shop is staffed with a certified Lenovo repair maintenance specialist. It will first be determined if it is under warranty. If the damage is covered under warranty, you will NOT have to pay a charge for the repair. If it is NOT covered under warranty, you will have to pay for the repair of your laptop.
What if I need a laptop for my classes?
In many cases, the repair can be completed the same day. However, in some cases it will take time for parts to come in. In these instances, because the damage is under warranty, you may be issued a loaner laptop to use while you are waiting for yours to be repaired. You will then be notified when your laptop is ready. You have 48 hours from the date you are initially contacted to pick up your laptop. You must then return the loaner prior to getting yours back. The loaner will be checked out more thoroughly and if there are any damages to the loaner, you will be responsible for all fees and costs associated with the cost to repair the laptop not covered by the warranty.
