Morrisville prides itself on comprehensively incorporating technology into academic life through such programs as IBM's ThinkPad University and extensive use of state-of-the-art networking, media, computing, and projection technologies within classrooms.
The Morrisville State College Technology Services department is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of college technology which supports both academic and administrative functions.

Morrisville State College was the first college to comprehensively replace land-line phones in residence halls with a cell phone for each residential student.
In the fall of 2007, Morrisville State College deployed a new campus-wide wireless network based upon the 802.11n (draft 2.0) wireless specification. Morrisville State College is the first college in the world to utilize this technology enterprise-wide.
Morrisville's wireless network is the fastest of its kind in the world.
