WebCT requires certain settings in your browser to ensure proper functionality.

• Java console must be enabled
• Java logging must be enabled
• The browser must check for newer versions of a page on every visit

These settings are adjusted in different places depending on the browser you are using, and different browsers require different settings.

The Morrisville State College WebCT application is optimized for use in either Internet Explorer 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and 1.6.

Testing Your Browser
You can ensure that your browser settings are correct by conducting a simple test in WebCT.

In the upper-right menu on any WebCT page, simply click the link labelled "Check Browser." A test of your browser will be automatically conducted and you will be notified if your browser is properly configured or not.
