Accounting is the language of business.
Our Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in accounting will make you fluent in that language as you prepare to continue your education in a baccalaureate program, and eventually to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
Along with 15 credit hours of accounting, supporting courses in law, statistics, business organization and computer information systems will provide you with a well-rounded education and sharpen your skills.
To prepare for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program in accounting or business, a wide range of electives beyond accounting will expand your overall knowledge of society and its diverse marketplaces. Your elective courses may include computer information systems or management.
Our students use interactive computerized programs designed as part of the Accounting Education Change Commission initiative, allowing you to experience accounting with immediate, consistent feedback.
You also can join Morrisville’s PBL-FBLA Business Club, where you can attend local and national conferences and compete against other accounting and business students in virtual and on-site competitions.
