Become a steward of the land.

One of the great challenges we face in today’s world has to do with our ability to identify and solve environmental problems.

Through SUNY Morrisville’s Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program in environmental and natural resources conservation, you will take the first steps in preparing for that challenge.

Primarily a transfer curriculum, the program features a rich foundation in the biological sciences and in chemistry and physics. You will also take introductory courses in environmental technology and in forestry.

In your second year, you’ll choose from a wealth of electives that include diverse subjects like aquaculture, arboriculture, geology, fish and wildlife management, surveying, ecology, and many more.

When you graduate, you will be ready to make a seamless transition as a junior into our Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree program in renewable resources technology, or transfer to other bachelor’s degree programs at institutions such as New York State College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) at Syracuse University, Plattsburgh State University and Brockport State University.
