Office Administration: Management A.A.S.

Students in classroom

Manage like a boss.

Taking charge of any office environment means becoming an expert in modern business technology and taking a leadership role of the people who use it.

In the SUNY Morrisville Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program in office administration: management, you’ll have a command of office equipment and procedures as well as a thorough understanding of managing staff and resources within an office.

With many courses available online, this flexible program offers courses in office management, technology and administration, in addition to a variety of business classes like math, law and communications.

You will learn and work with a variety of computer software programs, preparing you to take Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams and state civil service tests.

You will also fulfill a 90-hour internship during your second year of study, where you’ll be placed in a professional office setting to apply what you have learned in a real-world business setting.

This training culminates in you being ready to become an office manager, supervisor, or team leader.

Should you want to continue your studies, you will also be prepared to transfer seamlessly into SUNY Morrisville’s Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree program in technology management.
