Morrisville State College goes live for 2010-11 athletics season

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletic department is teaming up with and PrestoSports for the 2010-11 athletic season, bringing fans the ability to follow Mustang athletic contests at home over the internet.

Live Sports Video, LLC is a company based out of Syracuse that offers the opportunity to view athletic contests live through a web stream. Currently, those games (field hockey, football, soccer and lacrosse) being played on Drake Field as well as ice hockey and select others, such as volleyball and wrestling, will be available for viewing live during their respective seasons.

Select games will be available for viewing on a pay-per-view basis. A complete schedule can be found at

Morrisville State is also offering live stats through PrestoSports for field hockey, football and ice hockey. Those wishing to follow up-to-the-minute live stats can track the Mustangs at the following link:

“We are very excited to be moving forward with our live stats and webcasting initiatives this year. I have enjoyed following the fortunes of our teams in the past when they have been playing at other institutions offering these options and doing so from Morrisville puts our program ahead of those schools not yet providing these services,” stated Athletic Director Greg Carroll. “I am sure alumni as well as families and friends of our student athletes will appreciate these new efforts.”

Morrisville State is set to “go live” Wednesday as field hockey takes on Gordon College at 3 p.m.

For more information on the Mustangs going live, contact the sports information office at 315-684-6250.
