Morrisville State volleyball drops three straight to Hamilton College

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College fell to Hamilton College 25-23, 25-19, and 25-20 tonight in Morrisville. The team’s record is 3-12 overall.

Deanna Zbikowski (North Syracuse, NY) had 17 assists, one dig and one kill to lead the Mustangs as Nicole Wright (Dryden, NY) contributed a team high 12 kills and seven digs.

Sarah Keyser (Honeoye, NY) had four kills and two solo blocks. Both Devan Hirst (Cobleskill, NY) and Angelina Ciaschi (Ithaca, NY) had eight digs in the match.

Heather Foster (DeRuyter, NY) had four digs, two assists and one kill. Ciaschi also had one kill. Lexi Hansen (Taberg, NY) had four kills.

The team returns to the court on Saturday for a tri-match in Cazenovia. Morrisville State then returns to host Hartwick College in the John W. Stewart Activities Center (STUAC) on October 14 at 8 p.m. before hosting the NEAC pool play on the 16th and 17th.

Morrisville State College offers more than 80 bachelor and associate degrees and options. The Morrisville State College Norwich Campus offers associate degree programs in accounting, business, computer systems technology, office administration, liberal arts transfer, nursing, early childhood, criminal justice and human services to south central New York residents and employers. Students may also apply coursework to other associate or bachelor degrees at the main campus.
