Continentals hand Morrisville State women loss

CLINTON, N.Y. – Host Hamilton College women’s basketball handed visiting Morrisville State College a 66-44 non-conference loss Wednesday night.

Morrisville State drops to 3-15 overall on the season.

Keyla Arce (Bronx, NY) and Nijee Scott (Bronx, NY) combined for 33 of the Mustangs 44 total points on the night, adding 13 boards and six assists, with Scott leading the way with 19.

Madie Harlem and Claire Hunsinger each posted 16 for the Continentals in the win, as Hamilton shot 41 percent from the floor while holding Morrisville to just 29.

The Mustangs return to the court Saturday at Penn State Abington.
