MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its student-athletes of the week, naming Morrisville State College’s Hillary Hartnett (Fairport, NY) its NEAC Women’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 3.
Hartnett led Morrisville State to a 2-1 week, 2-0 in conference play, netting 16 goals, three assists and picking up 18 ground balls in three games.
In the win over Abington, she posted a collegiate best performance, leading the Mustangs with seven goals and an assist, while tallying 10 ground balls.
Hartnett currently leads Morrisville State in scoring with 16 goals and four assists.
The junior defender is majoring in equine science at Morrisville. She is the daughter of Eileen and Robert Hartnett of Fairport.
