Morrisville State volleyball drops two in conference play

KEUKA, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College women’s volleyball team dropped two conference contests Saturday, falling 3-0 to Keuka and 3-0 to SUNY IT in Keuka at the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) pool play.

Keuka claimed the victory with set wins of 25-13, 25-6, and 25-17. SUNY IT topped Morrisville State with a 25-9, 25-18, and 25-9 match win.

Morrisville State falls to 2-9 overall, 2-4 in conference play.

Tiffany Jones-Maxwell (Hamilton, NY) led the Mustangs in each contest, recording five kills against Keuka and adding three more against SUNY IT. Megan Robinson (Cazenovia, NY) posted 23 defensive digs in the Mustangs efforts in both contests.

The Mustangs return to the court tomorrow, finishing North Division play at Keuka against SUNY Cobleskill.
