Hunt named NEAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College freshman runner, Amanda Hunt (Laceyville, PA) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 16.

At the CCOC Championships held at William Smith College on Saturday, Hunt finished the race in 14th position out of 126 runners with a time of 22:02.32 to lead the women’s team to an eighth overall finish in the 5k race.

Out of five competing conference institutions, Hunt was the top finisher for the conference.

The equine science and management major at Morrisville State is the daughter of Susan and Tom Hunt of Laceyville, Pennsylvania.
