Morrisville State field hockey drops 3-1 decision to St. John Fisher

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Visiting Morrisville State College field hockey was able to muster a score late in the game, but fell short on time as host St. John Fisher College collected the 3-1 non-conference victory Wednesday night.

Rebecca Meyer (Morrisville, NY) tallied the lone score for the Mustangs, notching the unassisted goal in the 65th minute after defeating the defense downfield for the score.

Taylor Allen led St. John Fisher with two goals, as Caitlin Allen added the other Fisher score.

Laura Blumenfled (Rockland, NY) recorded the loss in net, saving seven in 70 minutes of play.

Morrisville State returns to the field Saturday traveling to RPI for a 2 p.m. start.
