Morrisville State to host 2012 NEAC Men’s Basketball Championship

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office announced last night that Morrisville State College is the host site of the 2012 Men’s Basketball Conference Championship Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26.

Morrisville State clinched the overall top seed in the tournament after finishing atop the North Division and defeating South Division champion, Penn State Harrisburg, in the two teams’ divisional crossover contest in early February.

The Mustangs are currently 13-1 in conference play (16-8 overall), and hold a three-game divisional lead over second place Wells (10-4 NEAC, 13-11 overall). Both teams close out the regular season Saturday.

The five team playoff bracket will be announced by the conference office on Monday.
