Rob Larkin named NEAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office has announced its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State College’s Rob Larkin (Clinton, NY) the Men’s Soccer Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 16.

Larkin, a freshman goalkeeper for the Mustangs, led the team to two victories and posted one shutout last week. He first recorded eight saves in a 2-1 victory over Oswego State Wednesday before collecting five saves in a 3-0 conference victory over SUNY IT Saturday. Larkin is now 2-1-1 overall with 32 saves this season.

The Clinton High School graduate is majoring in Diesel Technology at Morrisville State. He is the son of Robert and Shannon Larkin of Clinton, New York.
