Morrisville State College Norwich Campus to Host New Student Admission Day Jan. 4

MORRISVILLE, N.Y.--Morrisville State College’s Norwich Campus will host a New Student Admission Day on Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in its new academic building, Roger W. Follett Hall.

Academically prepared students who are interested in attending classes full- or part-time at the Norwich Campus this spring term will have the opportunity to apply, enroll and register in one day. Faculty and staff will be available to guide students through the admission process and to discuss degree programs and courses and financial aid options.

Interested students should bring the following:
• High school transcript
• College transcript, if applicable
• Immunization records
• Income tax information (for financial aid packages)
• $40 application fee

The Norwich Campus offers associate degree programs in accounting, business administration, computer systems technology, computer information systems, individual studies, liberal arts and sciences: humanities and social science, and office technology. The first year of the college’s associate degree in nursing is also offered. Students may apply coursework completed at the Norwich Campus to other associate or bachelor degrees at the main campus.

Spring term classes begin Jan. 23. Students may register for classes until Jan. 16. Morrisville State College offers 12 bachelor degrees and a wide variety of associate degrees and options. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones.
