Morrisville State College to Offer Medical Courses

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College’s Office of Corporate and Community Relations is offering two medical classes at the college’s Norwich Campus.

Understanding Confidentiality and Privacy of Medical Information is scheduled for March 17 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the class, which includes lunch, is $69.

Medical Coding and Billing in the Medical Office meets April 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost of the class is $40.
Tips of the trade will be reviewed, as well as how medical information is used in medical coding and billing functions. The skills and education necessary for coders/billers and coding certification will also be covered.

Morrisville State College is also offering a variety of other non-credit courses including: Business Communication and E-mail Etiquette, What Did You Say; Delivering Effective Presentations, You Can Survive; Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse Training; and Child Safety on the Internet.
