Morrisville State Travel Plans Western Caribbean Cruise

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State Travel is offering a six-day western Caribbean cruise on Liberty, the newest “fun ship” in the Carnival cruise line fleet, departing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Jan. 14, 2007.

The trip, through Morrisville State College, includes ports of call in Freeport, Bahamas, famous for its international duty-free shops and white-sand beaches, Grand Cayman, known for its seven-mile beach, and Cozumel, Mexico, the “Jewel of the Yucatan.”

Special rates are available for the cruise which is a fundraiser for the college’s International Food Service Executives’ Association (IFSEA), an organization which provides hospitality students with a better understanding of the food service industry and networking opportunities in the industry.

The Carnival ship, Liberty, features a seaside movie theater located outdoors, a sports deck, camp carnival for kids, casino, four pools, a 214-foot long water slide, live entertainment, 22 lounges and bars, and a duty-free shopping mall.

Cruise only rates start at $579 per person for an interior stateroom. On-board entertainment, all meals and taxes and port charges are included. Airfare is separate. Special rates will be applied for Carnival’s air/sea program.

Availability is limited and a deposit per person will guarantee a stateroom. Reservations will be accepted until May 24, 2006 or until special rates sell out.

For more information about the trip or to make a reservation, contact Morrisville State Travel at 315-684-6226 or e-mail Brenda Coogan at cooganbs@morrisville.edu.
