Mosley named Mustang Athlete of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College athletic department has named softball’s Jillian Mosley (Salem, N.J.) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 14.

The sophomore catcher went 4-for-6 from the plate (.667 batting average) in last week’s doubleheader action against Wells College, collecting four runs, seven RBI’s and two stolen bases.

Of her four hits, one was a double, one a triple and two were homeruns, including one sent over the centerfield fence.

Mosley also registered two stolen bases on the day and in the field added a total 15 putouts.

The graduate of Salem High is majoring in equine science at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Julia and Harold Mosley of Salem, New Jersey.
