Morrisville State College Offers GED Course

MORRISVILLE, N.Y.– Need help preparing to get your GED?
Morrisville State College’s Office of Workforce Development and Community Education is offering a free GED course.
The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year, from 4-7 p.m., in Charlton Hall, Room 102.
Participants will learn how to prepare for the GED high school equivalency test in a stress-free environment where they can work at their own pace. Individualized instruction will be provided.

Morrisville State College offers 13 bachelor degrees and a wide variety of associate degrees and options. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones. Morrisville State College was also chosen as one of the top five colleges in the nation for campus activities by Campus Activities magazine.

The Norwich Campus offers associate degree programs in business, computer technology, office administration, liberal arts transfer, nursing, and a new standalone degree in early childhood to Chenango County area residents and employers. Students may also apply coursework to other associate or bachelor degrees at the main campus.

The Norwich Campus also offers a range of non-credit/community education courses, customized training, and conference services.
