Morrisville State football game Saturday, November 10 moved to Colgate

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College football game against Wesley College scheduled for Saturday, November 10 on Drake Field on the Morrisville State campus has been moved to Andy Kerr Stadium on the Colgate University campus in Hamilton, N.Y.

Kick-off is scheduled for 12 p.m.

Morrisville State and Wesley meet for the second time in the history of the two programs, with Wesley leading the series 1-0 following a 53-14 victory last season. Morrisville State is coming off two straight wins and look to even the series against the Wolverines on Saturday.

Morrisville State enters its second year as a provisional member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division III in 2007. Upon successful completion of the provisional period, Morrisville State will be a candidate for full accreditation as a member of the NCAA.

Morrisville State College offers more than 70 bachelor and associate degrees. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones. Morrisville State College was also chosen as one of the top five colleges in the nation for campus activities by Campus Activities magazine. The Morrisville State College Norwich Campus also offers programs in business, technologies, liberal arts/education transfer, and nursing to Chenango County area residents and employers.
