D'Youville rolls to non-conference win over Morrisville men

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Visiting D’Youville College netted 59 second half points to overcome a two-point halftime deficit to defeat host Morrisville State College 93-72 Tuesday night in Morrisville.

D’Youville shot 58.1 percent from the floor in the second half, including 60 percent from three-point land, while tallying 59-second half points. The Spartans were led by Charles Walker with 25 points and six assists while Derek Tapscott and Jordan Taylor each chipped in 16 in the win.

Morrisville State’s Terrell Armstead (Flushing, NY) netted a double-double, chipping in 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Taylor Foster (White Plains, NY) added 12 points while senior Debo Olasokan (Brooklyn, NY) netted 11.

Morrisville State led 36-34 at the half.
